A story of traditional Indigenous knowledge that follows a young boy and his Aunt as they gather and braid sweetgrass. This heartfelt story about our connection to Earth and how to gather resources respectfully offers thoughtful insight into a treasured Mi'kmaw tradition.
Born and raised in the Bear River First Nation, author Theresa Meuse is a First Nations educator and advisor. She has collaborated, contributed, and authored various books such as The Sharing Circle, L'N'uk, and Mi'kmaq Anthology.
Jessica Jerome is a two-spirit graphic designer, born in the Listuguj Mi'kmaw First Nation, and raised as a member of the Gesgapegiag Band along the banks of the Gaspé Coast. Jessica has earned certificates in visual arts, communications, and graphic design.

Orders are processed within 3-4 days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
We currently do not ship outside the continental US. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. The order will be canceled and refunded if we cannot make this update.
There will be a processing and shipping delay for orders placed between December 19 after 4 pm and January 1. Orders made during this period will be processed after January 2.

Return Policy:
