FOR WABANAKI NATIONS
The Abbe is a trusted and stable strategy and education partner to Wabanaki Nations.
Wabanaki Tribal museums and Cultural and Historic Preservation offices benefit from and are in collaboration with the Abbe.
A new generation of Wabanaki museum curators, educators, and leaders has been fostered by the Abbe Museum.
FOR MAINE COMMUNITIES
Learners of all ages and organizational partners understand the relationship of Wabanaki Nations to a thriving Maine and are empowered to be advocates and allies.
More people state-wide have access to the Abbe’s decolonized learning, engagement, and activation resources both in person and digitally.
The Abbe becomes an exemplar of effective decolonial business models that promote Wabanaki museum leadership development at the Abbe and throughout Maine.
FOR MAINE VISITORS
Visitors are attracted to the museum and enjoy a more complete understanding of Wabanaki Nations as central to Maine history, present, and futures
Visitors continue to access and interact with the museum digitally.
Interaction with and learning from Wabanaki and other museum professionals.
