Baskets of Time
Baskets of Time shares the stories of seventeen artists and families. Each profile describes how the artist learned the art of basket weaving from individuals within their family and from other tribal members. In their own words, they describe how they transform such raw materials as sweetgrass and ash into beautiful baskets that have become award-winning works of art sold in galleries and exhibited in museums, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

Orders are processed within 3-4 days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
We currently do not ship outside the continental US. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. The order will be canceled and refunded if we cannot make this update.
There will be a processing and shipping delay for orders placed between December 19 after 4 pm and January 1. Orders made during this period will be processed after January 2.

Return Policy:
All sales are final, excluding items that arrive damaged. Please submit a return request to shop@abbemuseum.org within 72 hours of receiving a damaged item.
