For thousands of generations Wabanaki people have lived in the homeland we now refer to as Maine. Over this span of time, the Wabanaki have created technology for living in this environment - technologies that helped them thrive and have a profound influence on their landscape. Join us in a discussion led by Abbe educators and learn about Wabanaki technology and inventions. Each week will take a look at a separate adaptation and invention made by Wabanaki peoples throughout the ages.
This program is offered in partnership with Acadia National Park. It is free and open to the public.
