Becoming a part of the Abbe's story strengthens the Museum in a direct and meaningful way. From members to volunteers to staff, your support provides spectacular programming, unique exhibitions, and remarkable events, and truly shows how much you value culture and community.
As part of our ongoing Greening the Abbe campaign, we are always considering the sustainability of the Abbe and we have identified concrete changes that we can make to reduce our carbon footprint. One of these changes is eliminating membership cards. Going forward, all members will simply check-in at the Admissions desk upon arriving at the Museum and a Guest Services Associate will use our membership database to locate your details. Only members who have chosen the to receive free admission to museums in the North American Reciprocal Museums (NARM) Program as an Additional Abbe Benefit (only applicable with certain membership levels) will receive an Abbe membership card.
Stop by the Abbe Museum during our visiting hours and a Guest Services Associate will help you become a member at the level of your choice. Use your receipt to enjoy the benefits of membership that same day, and your complete membership materials will be mailed to you.
Call the Abbe Museum at (207) 288-3519 and ask for Jill Sawyer or the Abbe Shop. Please be ready with your Visa or Mastercard.
If you have questions about membership, please ask! Send an email to email@example.com or call (207) 288-3519.
Memberships are renewable annually and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by current law. Most Abbe Museum members also choose to further support the museum through volunteering or contributions to the Annual Fund.
